PSN School’s Spectacular 75th Republic Day Extravaganza: Unveiling the Tapestry of Patriotism, Culture, and Sporting Triumphs
On the auspicious occasion of the 75th Republic Day, celebrated on January 26, 2024, at PSN – The Persistent Students Nest Sr Sec School (PSN School, Lamachaur), a grand ceremony unfolded with a myriad of patriotic activities, cultural programs, sports events, and the spirit of unity and pride.

The day commenced with the solemn Flag Hoisting ceremony, where students and staff alike paid their respects to the nation and its past leaders. The atmosphere was charged with patriotism as the National Anthem echoed through the school premises. Following this, an Oath was administered, reinforcing the commitment of the PSN community towards the welfare and progress of the nation. The celebration resonated with the melodious renditions of Patriotic Songs that stirred the hearts of everyone present.
The cultural extravaganza unfolded with various captivating performances. The NC Class presented “Nahna Munha Rahi hun,” the LKG Class showcased their talents with “Ye Mera India,” and the UKG Class enthralled the audience with “It Happens only in India.” The cultural mosaic continued with a mesmerizing Ganesh Vandana by Class 11th, the soul-stirring “Esa Desh hai Mera” by Class 1st, and the poignant rendition of “Teri Mitti Mein” by Class 7th. Miss Alisha Ma’am delivered an impactful speech, weaving together sentiments of pride and nationalism.
The celebration also included vibrant dance performances that added a dynamic touch to the event. Class 9th presented “Mere Desh ki Dharti,” while Class 11th showcased their artistic flair with “Shubh Din Aaay.” The powerful “Jab Jeero Diya mere Bharat” resonated through the voices of Class 8th, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.
In an effort to continue the spirit of competition, the school organized sports events, including Kabaddi, featuring the Sparkle Team in the Girls Category and the Yodha Team in the Boys Category emerging victorious. The inclusion of sports activities not only showcased the physical prowess of the students but also fostered a sense of teamwork and camaraderie.
The recognition of talent and achievements took center stage as Founder Mam, Mrs. Prema Mam, distributed prizes for various competitions. Rajesh Bhatt (6th) received the School Winner award for the Olympiad. Additionally, winners of kindergarten-level competitions, such as Fancy Dress, Drawing, Hindi Rhyme, Hindi Story Telling, English Rhyme, and English Story Telling, were acknowledged for their creative endeavors. The participants and winners of the Sports Meet held in December 2023 were also felicitated with prizes and medals, reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing both academic and athletic excellence.
The culminating moments of the celebration featured an inspiring speech by Director Sir, Dr. Abhishek Mittel, who addressed the students and parents present on the occasion. His words encapsulated the essence of the Republic Day celebrations, emphasizing the importance of unity, diversity, and progress. The distribution of sweets was carried out by our Principal, Dr. Monika Goel Mittal while the event concluded with heartfelt gratitude expressed by Miss Beena Mam, the Vice-Principal, who thanked everyone involved in making the celebration a resounding success, including the dedicated staff, enthusiastic students, and the parents who graced the occasion with their presence.
